Where the Sane Should Fear to Tread

Therapy Sessions on File

Almost the end of 2004. Wow. Time just fucking flew. Don't ask what there is to show for it around here.

Ten days at home, with a small child, during Xmas. Santa left presents, took the dead brain cells I left scattered around the house. Santa also did not grant me one thing from my three item list. Not even a variation on one of them. *sigh*

The muse - that finicky, snarky, mostly absent little bastard - popped his slimy head around a corner and dropped a plot-bunny in my lap. Senor muse promptly fucked off (again) before I could get to a pad of paper, never mind the damn 'puter. Killing this little prick would not be a good way to start 2005... yes or no?

*sniffle* fuck *sniffle* There's some episodes that, no matter how many times I've seen them, trigger water-works. The ST:V episode, Timeless, is one of those. Later, hate typing on a wet keyboard.

Kept forgetting to print pictures (since July!) so there were seventy-plus pictures to run off Wednesday. Yeow! Really must develop a working brain some time soon.

Making a list - no, not for Santa - of things to do at home. Top of the list? Clean my damn 'puter room. Christ on a broom! It's been a shit-pile before, but it's ridiculous now. And it is so not even close to being baby-friendly. Don't mind the mice being used as phones, but screwdrivers and wires are not good toys.

If my computer had sexual organs it would now be a eunuch. Mother-fucking-son-of-a-bitch! Things, good and bad come in groups of three. First, Vicious' 'puter; then Sis had hers go boom; now, my main one. Again, one - maybe two - steps away from a complete reformat. The problem is still not totally fixed, but it's manageable now. Perfection will only come with "format c:".

Took ol' Squirmy to see Santa last week. Little guy absolutely loved sitting on Santa's knee. The staff were surprised (and delighted) a child that young didn't fuss and cry. Well, he did sorta start, but only when he was dragged from Santa's knee. Wow.

I owe people e-mail, LJ comments and phone calls. And I will get to it, I promise. I'm finding time for this stuff come hell or high water! Where the hell has December gone anyway? Seriously, where? Xmas is next week and I cannot figure out where the hell all my time has been spent.

Chow for now... Bowser & Blue Xmas Special is on and, no matter how many times I've seen it, it's wonderful. And good background noise while I clean this fucking room!

Too many kiddie cartoons, not enough smut-fic. Ted the Toadstool looked like a cartoon cock with a too-wide head. I swear, that was my first thought when I saw the damn thing.

Sis' computer is nearly done. If I hadn't been quite so... well, lazy works as good as anything else, then it would have been done sooner. But since they were away, why rush?

Coming up on Xmas and I've done nothing yet - yikes! Nothing like leaving it all until the last couple weeks, right? Oh, just shoot me. The thought of going near a mall, never mind in one, is bad enough.

Dear Santa...
